Practice makes perfect. Go to all interviews you get even if you don't want the job, you are practicing for the job you really want. And research hints on the internet, I have seen some good ideas.

can stress and anxiety and negative emotions cause physical symptoms such as irregular heartbeats??? What about caffiene???
Stress can be a factor to a irregular heartbeat as well as caffiene, smoking, chocolate, and it can also be hereditary. If this continues or becomes bothersome or painful such as pains in the center of your chest, in your left arm or jaw area, you should seek medical attention immediately as this could be a life threatening condition. But in reality, most people do have from time to time an irregular heartbeat without any serious problems. My advice, just keep a check on it, reduce your stress/caffiene, etc. and see how that works first. If no improvement, I recommend you seeing your doctor for further testing. Okay my first question has to do with panic attacks. Anytime I drink like, a cappucino or an energy drink, I have a panic attack. Do I need to get treatment/medicine for this, or should I just let it go?
Second question. Sometimes I have this excessive excitement. Like I'll look at my friend count on myspace, and picture it going up and up in my mind and i'll put my fingers up by my mouth and twiddle them together and have an awkward breathing pattern. I also do this when I think about pulling a car into a driveway and the wheels turning and going up the bump, but it mostly happens with things with numbers, such as profile views, friend counts, text message counts, etc. I also do it when I play video games. I've been doing this 'excessive excitement' thing since I was like 4. I remember playing Mario Kart and doing it. I've never seen anyone else do it or have this kind of thing happen to them, and I'm wondering what it is.
well, i have an anxiety problem and i know that caffiene only triggers attacks, so stay away! you might want to find a therapist for that other part, im not sure…sorry im not more help. good luck.

Alright, I have a feeling that I had an anxiety attack 2 weeks ago.
I had this dizzy feeling, an my heart started to beat fast.
I was with my mom, Im 12.
I lied down on the bed, and drank water and felt better after 6-7 minutes
Well, the doctor didn’t know what I was having since it was only the first day, I am overweight, I weighed 68 kilos, and I am 5foot.
Though the day after I started losing weight, eating healthy.
I had another anxiety attack a few days after.
The 2 weeks are up, I haven’t had an anxiety attack in a while.
Though, I still have shortness of breath, and chest pain, and abit of numbness. I used to weigh 68, now I weigh 65.
If I continue losing weight, stayin healthy, and calm the heck down will thes ephysical symptoms go away? are there any natural treatments?
or do I need medical treatment?
People with experience said they didn’t need it, and used natural remedies to heal it.
Though I don’t know those natural remedies.

Ok these are some tips that work for me:
Keep yourself occupied during an attack. For me sometime playing a video game or typing online or drawing … Something that takes your mind off of the physical symptoms and keeping your hands busy.
Sometimes a nice warm bath can help too. I don't reccomend the shower as much because for me I get too dizzy.
Oh and try to relax and say away from stress if possible.
Practicing deep breathing through out the day can help.
I've found caffeine cause me a lot of anxiety so I cut out a lot.
Try to figure out around when you are getting anxious so you can try to pin point what it is and figure out a way to deal with that specifically.
Meditation and yoga and exercise.
I myself find Praying works.
I do suggest seeing a dr again for further tests to make sure it is anxiety and if need be medication.
I am on a couple thing's for anxiety myself but I have pretty severe anxiety.

I am a 52 year old woman in menopause and have several anxiety issues and taking medications for it.. But since I have been taking Clexa, been feeling better but one down fall is that i can not have a orgasam when having intercourse. is there a medication to help with this problem.

Also, 1.1 percent of women taking Celexa reported problems with anorgasmia (inability to achieve orgasm).
Ther only thing is to change to (wellbutrin)…All the other anti-depressants cause sexual problems. Most companies say only 1 to 2 % are affected. More like 90 %.
As far as I know Wellbutrin does not cause sexual side effects.

I was severely bullied as a kid.
Form 5 - 12yrs of age i was the "target"…. fat, crooked teeth, frizzy hair, more developed, dumb..
Kids, mainly boys would call me names, spit on me, puch my boobs and push me down the stairs.
Things have changed now (15yrs old) and i have a few friends..
Lately i have been getting severe panic attacks..
Could being shy, isolated and bullied as a child have caused my anxiety issues.
The two could well be related and it wouldn't surprise me if they where. Having said that, I don't know what is happening in your life right now, for all I know there could be something else going on that could be causing/adding to it. Whatever the cause is I would advise you to go and seek help with this problem. Panic attacks are absolutely horrible to go through and in my experience problems like this will only get worse without treatment. Good luck!

It is the probably the MOST effective treatment there is for SAD, because you are working on both the negative thinking that causes anxiety, while at the same time GRADUALLY learning how to behave in anxiety provoking situations.
The trick is though…BABY STEPS. Don't bite off more than you can handle at first exposure, or you will want to quit.. As you obtain small success, you "climb up the ladder" toward activities that you once thought impossible to do.

I’m looking for any information on Social Anxiety Disorder or any help from people who suffer from it, or information on varying cures. Also, if anyone knows any good websites giving additional info or group support, please let me know.
Also, if anyone has experience with being put on benzodiazepines, information on the effectiveness and personal experiences with them would be extremely useful.

Regarding the use of benzodiazepines, I do have personal experience and opinions about them. I believe them to be:
1. VERY effective in lowering anxiety, there are also known as tranquilizers.
2. Useful as a short-term measure and as a last resort if anxiety levels reach unbearable levels, or if sleep is not possible.
3. Highly addictive, and may do more harm than good long term if you
do not address the SA directly with therapy and/or SSRI's.
In short, it is very easy and tempting to rely on tranquilizers, using them as a "crutch", and then never learning to "walk" with out them. Avoid their "regular" usage, you can, and if you must use them, be very careful…
