Lifting weights gives me some mild derealization and increases my anxiety hours later.
However, cardio work does NOT do this.

I have horrible panic attacks. They make me miserable, and not want to go anywhere because I am afraid I’ll have one in public. They are panic attacks about nothing usually. Anyone else have this problem? What do you do that helps?

I have the most intense anxiety. I worry about everything from taking the wrong pen out of my backpack to my mom dying from a heart attack. This is a daily thing. It is out of control.
Right now I am on meds for Depression, OCD, panic disorder, irritability, ADHD, and Asperger’s.
Is there a medicine for anxiety?

Lately, I have been experiencing panic attacks everyday. They last from 30 mins - 2 hrs. I feel extremely light headed, tingly in my fingers & toes while getting a cold sweat, I immediately feel like something’s seriously wrong with me, that I’m beginning to go insane, or that I’m about to die. I also feel like everything’s unreal, or almost like I’m in an acoma and that everything is presently a dream. It feels like a bad high. I’m afraid to leave the house alone fearing that I may have a panic attack while I’m out. I’m afraid to go to work or school. I don’t exercise anymore cause I feel extremely tired everyday and I’m scared I might faint while exercising. I’ve gone to the emergancy because my doctor perscribed me anti-depressants that reacted really badly with my body. Once I was there, the doctor said that my blood & heart were normal and that I had panic/anxiety disorders. Again I was perscribed medication in order to try and help calm my anxiety/panic attacks. However, I’m paranoid that if I do take this medication I will once again go through what I did w/ the anti-depressants. I have read that many feel medication for panic disorders don’t completely help & that some people have experienced these symptoms for up to 10 yrs. I’m really scared that I might go through that. I’ve read adds on the net for books & CDs that help cure panic attacks w/o the need of medication. My question is, has anyone ever tried this method instead of using perscribed medication and which book/CD has worked the best for you? Thanks.
The impurities and imperfections in our body and mind is the main cause for such anxiety. Anxiety and mental disorder does not come all of a sudden. It is a chain reaction. It is built over a period of time by us.
The remedy for this is a total change in life style. Plus there should be a transformation of mind set. Habits (both physical and mental), and moral behavior should change. Should have great vision. Should channelize all our time, energy and resources towards some higher pursuits. We should accumulate lot of good-will. Keep away from ill-will.
Healthy habits and traits will come only when our thinking is pure and clean. Thinking should be simple and easy. We should have positive thoughts only. Too much of desire for sense objects should be controlled. Because desire results in attachment. If the desire is not fulfilled, we get irritation or frustration, thus leading to anger and infatuation. From infatuation, we get confusion of memory. Confusion of memory will take you to loss of reason. Thus anxiety comes over a period of time. It is an unnecessary load on us, which we gradually accumulate because of our indiscipline, disorganized way of living, unsystematic approach, etc.
