badass! whenever i first heard this song, i immediately thought it was a 7-string guitar, cuz John Petrucci utilizes those for heavier songs such as this. BUT, i’ve noticed the tabs are in 6-string format and was wondering if you knew whether he actually uses a detuned guitar or a 7-string?
