Why do people get social anxiety disorder?

And do all people with social anxiety disorder have something in common, whatever that may be?
Research into the causes of social anxiety and social phobia is wide-ranging, encompassing multiple perspectives from neuroscience to sociology. Scientists have yet to pinpoint the exact causes. Studies suggest that genetics can play a part in combination with environmental factors.

I think people get it because people can be judgemental and arses to be quite frank. You go to the bank and you get the mean teller. You go to a shop to buy a new dress and you get the nasty shopgirls who will look you up and down and won't serve you.
People start to become fearful of going out because they don't want to have to cope with the feelings that arise in those situations.
And also, sometimes it has to do with personality as well.
