Loss of appetite- can it be caused by stress/anxiety?

I’m a size 8, so it’s not like I want to subconsciously lose weight, or anything. But I do harbour stress very easily, and I do suffer from anxiety, so could my loss of appetite be caused by stress or anxiety? How bad is this for me?

Hello ,

Actually , stress and anxiety could have many side effects including loss of appetite .
But not only stress or anxiety can be the cause to lose your appetite , it could be because of a certain medication you’re taking now or maybe an infection in the stomach …etc.
That’s why , it is preferable to be checked by your doctor to be sure of that.
