i would like to know how many of you who have anxiety suffer from physical symptoms?
Bycan you get bad symptoms ? even when your not feeling it ,and feel quite fine, im a Medical Researcher myself and spend a lot of time studying diseases mental and physical and i often wonder ,why and how anxiety can attack even when at a seemingly peacefull mood ??
I went through an incredibly stressful time after my mother died, and developed severe bladder symptoms. I was tested over and over for UTI, but was always negative. For a year I rarely left the house because I couldn’t be away from the bathroom for too long. There was physical evidence that something was wrong (my bladder was very scarred) but they couldn’t figure out why. When I finally saw a therapist for depression and anxiety, I was put on medication and within a couple days the symptoms disappeared. Depression and anxiety can definitely cause debilitating physical symptoms and illnesses, and as a nurse I see this all the time.

Yes I suffer from horrible headaches that are useally slept off. And sometimes I shake like I have alzhiemers. I’m quite embarassed by the shaking cause people sometimes notice and say something about it. Both according to my doctor are because of stress.
