What causes anxiety attacks, and how can I prevent them from happening?
ByMy name is Alex, I’m 17 years old, and every now and then I have anxiety attacks. They don’t last very long, but when I have them it feels unrealistic. I could be doig something special and worth while, and out of nowhere I have an anxiety attack. I get short of breath, dizzy, sometimes nausea, and it feels like I’m going to die. From the reasearch I have done, it seems I need to look into anxiety medication, but at the chance there is something else I can do to stop these, or have them less frequently, I would be extatic.

Nutrition effects our emotions, how we feel, our brain, etc…!
A deficiency in magnesium, chromium, and tryptophan causes anxiety/panic attacks.
A deficiency in folic acid (and sometimes magnesium) causes shortness of breath.
A deficiency in iron, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, vitamin B2 causes dizziness.
A deficiency in vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5 causes nausea.
Before you take any medication for your anxiety, get your nutrient levels for these nutrients checked up to see if you are low in any of them!!! the nurse will take a blood test to see if you are low in any of them. once you know which ones you are low in, take a vitamin supplement for those in particular. Taking medication isn’t always the best way to overcome an issue, because medication depletes (takes away) nutrition and nutrition effects our emotions MAJORLY!!!!!! so my advice is to first get these nutrients that I’ve listed checked up and see if you can cure your anxiety with the right vitamins and minerals before popping medication in your mouth.
