I have a little vitamin D deffictioncy could that cause Anxiety?
Bythe normal range is 30-100 mine was 17 , can lack of vitamin D cause anxiety? anyone know? and is that really low by the way?
yes chemical imbalances of any type whether it is vitamins or something else can cause mental problems whether it be anxiety or something worse.

only if you obsess about it and living with psychosis has tought me one thing, don’t obssess unless its for your or others good

Nah it won’t cause anxiety… and yes it is pretty low, you really need to get out in the sun more.

I disagree with a previous poster. Vitamin D deficiency can cause all sorts of problems. Mine was linked to hyperthyroidism, which in itself causes problems. Please ask your internist about your experiences.

Depression (anxiety & depression go hand in hand) sufferers are encouraged to eat high protein diets, exercise & get lots of sunshine (vit. D) so maybe this deficiency could contribute to feelings of anxiety.. but also just being outside in the sun will give you a better sense of wellbeing. I guess you’re on a supplement but there is nothing better than feeling the warmth of the sun on your body.. I guess you’ve also been given a list of vitamin D rich foods? So get some into you!!!
