Social anxiety? Do i have it? or what is it? Help.?
By adminOkay so I’m always like thinking that people are talking about me since I”m so quiet i don’t want them thinking i don’t like them or I ignoring them. It’s extremely difficult for me to make new friends.Today in class. This might seem like not a big deal. But when i was in class well i’m always quiet and we had to get in group everyone was getting in groups this always happens and well i didn’t really know anyone and so i started to feel like i couldn’t breath, felt pressure in my head and get sad. I felt like crying a bit. I’m use to being quiet since i was in elementary. Never change much. But i always had problem with finding people to get in a group. When i am in groups i feel extremely nervous idk what to say and today we had to read. I started to get nervous and my heart started to beat fast. I got all red in the face and sweaty. What is this? I never really paid attention to it. It has to stop I can’t stand being like this anymore.

I like to add that when i’m home I’m not quiet. If i told my parents i was quiet at school they wouldn’t believe me. But why am i this way at school? I can talk to teachers okay. Yet i’m quiet towards classmates.
The most often reported physical symptoms of a panic attack are hyperventilation, heart palpitation, nausea and stomach cramp. You will feel it hard to breathe. You will think you have to force yourself to breathe.
You do an unusual amount of yawning in order to catch your breath. You feel like you are going to die if you don’t keep trying hard enough to breathe. Heart palpitation makes you feel like your heartbeat is pounding. The pounding heartbeat makes you even more nervous and uncomfortable. You may also feel nauseous in your stomach and it may cause you to vomit.
Social anxiety sounds more like what you’re suffering from.
A sort of general unease in social situations.
Most people out grow this as they mature into adulthood..some don’t.
Keep researching this and you may learn a lot more about yourself then you set out to.
Good luck!
