By admin

I suffer anxiety and im always thinking im dying of something.I am having this attack about spinal cord cancer i know this is so silly but i cant help feeling like this.So if i tell you what im feeling can you tell me if im crazy or not.I have been feeling nauseas and a little dizzy and i have lower back pain and a little joint pain.Am i being stupid?

hey
I'm sure that this is hypochondria because a person with hypochondria has a preoccupying fear of having a serious illness. This conviction persists despite appropriate medical evaluation and reassurance of good health.
People with hypochondria are obsessed with bodily functions and interpret normal sensations (such as heart beats, sweating, and bowel movements) or minor abnormalities (such as a runny nose, a small sore, or slightly swollen lymph nodes) as symptoms of serious medical conditions.
They may also focus on vague and ambiguous physical sensations, like "a sore liver" or "tired veins." One form of this disorder involves a preoccupation with a single organ (such as the lungs) or disease (for example, cancer). Negative results of diagnostic examinations do little to decrease a patient's anxiety about his or her health, and he or she continues to seek medical attention.
I hope my answer help you
have a nice day

The list of signs and symptoms mentioned in various sources for Spinal Cord Tumor includes the 8 symptoms listed below:
Symptoms depend greatly on which part of the spine is affected but often include certain types of symptoms in affected regions:
Pain
Paresthesias
Numbness
Weakness
Back pain
Sensory changes
Motor problems

Note that Spinal Cord Tumor symptoms usually refers to various symptoms known to a patient, but the phrase Spinal Cord Tumor signs may refer to those signs only noticable by a doctor.

Being made up of similar tissue as the brain, spinal cord tumours are similar to brain tumours but are less frequent. Most of the tumours found there have spread from other parts of the body. Spinal cord tumours may stop messages passing along the nerves between brain and body in much the same way as injury to the spinal cord does.

Symptoms

The most common symptoms are pain, loss of feeling and ability to move arms or legs, and sometimes paralysis on one side with loss of sensation on the other.

Diagnosis

Spinal tumours are diagnosed by careful physical and X-ray examination of the affected segment. Sometimes the spinal fluid is taken for analysis.

so pretty much unless you are feeling numb or can't move your limbs you are fine

To ease your mind, go to the doc. But if you suffer anxiety, then doctor bills can add up with no results. I suffer panic attacks and you can actually bring on symtoms with your mind. Especially dizziness. Is there a reason that you think you have this particular illness? If not..lay down, breath deep, and think good thoughts no matter how hard it is. You WILL feel better or at least get through this one attack.
