I have REALLY bad social anxiety and i need help!?

I am unable to meet new people and even when i see my friends i begin to blush and like my eyes look nervous if you know what i mean..
I am unable to talk to anyone one on one.. i can only communicate effiecently outside in the open.
Im affraid off blushing ( I ALWAYS BLUSH OVER NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING ) and because im affraid i make myself panic and therefore i go red.. Im constantly thinkin about bein embarrased and always expect to get embarassed
I blush and kinda panic when i get on the bus in the morning when i go college.
when im in college i dont answer questions or talk in class that much cause ill just get embarrased.. i cannot do presentations in class and i had to the other day and my heart started poundin n i felt sick aswell as gettin sweaty palms.. i got up n began to blush n my eyes looked nervous n i couldnt concentrate on what i was saying.
I havent had a girlfriend for like 8 years n im 18 years old now. i cannot talk to a girl n couldnt even imagine having a girlfriend because we would be together face to face to much which i cannot do..
But i really want a girlfriend and girls like me through msn ( i have pics so they know exactly wt i luk like n they say im good lukin) but i am unable to meet up with them cause off my anxiety.. I really like a girl and she says she likes me too and she wants to meet in summer.. but i know i cannot and therefore life sucks for me..
I even blush when talkin to my mum and dad about ordinary things.. i blush infront of my older sister through talkin bout everyday stuff… i sometimes have to pick my brother up from school and when i walk in the street i get very nervous n begin to like sweat (im not sweaty thou lol..honest!) n i blush.
I cant have normal convo’s with friends n i feel like im gonna lose friends or people are gonna think im weird or boring cause im so quiet…
theres more things but this is all i can remember… oh and i have college in the morning but i feel really depressed so im having the day off to kinda recoup my energy and i will then go the next day.
Can anyone please diagnose my illness like is it social anxiety and depression or wt.. and what can i do to get better? Please help me, i feel like a prisoner as i am unable to have a proper social life. Thanks alot everyone.
You should talk to a counselor or therapist. Does your college have a student health center? Usually you can get sessions for free there, or at very low cost. Just remember to relax, other people will never judge you as harshly as you judge yourself.

You may have social phobia and you probably have low self esteem or something.
You should see a counselor, he/she may be able to help you with your problems…talk to them about it because it does really help.

yeah you should really go see a doctor.
just try to have more confidence in yourself.
i know its hard but talk to people and be with people who love and appreciate you.
but see a psychiatrist.

I was diagnosed with panic attacks and a social phobia at age twenty, and what you’re describing sounds very similar. I do recommend going to see your doctor, there’s a couple of things they can do. There’s cognitive behavioural therapy, which I was told I didn’t need, or tablets. Now, I wasn’t happy with the idea of taking tablets every day, but for me, they really have worked, and it sounds as though you’re just about ready to try anything. In summary, yes, it sounds like a panic disorder and the best advice I can give you is to see your doctor. They are the experts.

Only a doctor can diagnose you. Have you tried medication? I really don’t like recommending it, because it’s "unnatural", but there’s stuff out there that can really HELP you, despite what a lot of people would tell you. Talk to your doctor.

I have a severe case of Social Anxiety too, especially when I go to college. I walk to college, and I walk pretty slow, so when people start to overtake me, I get extremely anxious. When I’m at college I sweat the whole day… don’t want to talk to people, my friends, find it difficult to come up with things to talk about… when I come home it’s the same problem, I come home in a sweat. I’m anxious 24/7. I’m depressed most of the time. I hate the way I dress, I always worry about what I’m going to wear the next day. I’m not going to college today because I need a break, I’m tired of the sweating and feeling anxious all the time. I saw a doctor about it and it was absolutely useless… I do plan on seeing another doctor next week, maybe he’ll understand what I’m going through. The other bitch didn’t give a shit, it’s like she wasn’t interested and just referred me to some counselling sessions, for which I still haven’t got a letter for yet.
