How can I put aside my social anxiety for this job?

By admin

I’m getting a job soon but even just thinking about it, my heart is going insane.
I’m nervous about the interview, about training, working, everything.
How can I not let my anxiety get to me while I’m there? I REALLY need this job.
Thank you for any help!

Don’t think about it. Stay natural, have a good sleep, a good breakfast, and wear appropriately, smile, and i don’t think anything much can go wrong.

It’s time for you to take it easy otherwise you will ruin your interview or maybe, your job, later on. Try hanging out with friends, reading your favourite books, watching any good television series etc. while at the same time look forward towards your new job and how exciting it is gonna be. Interviewers do not look for people who are anxious or who really need the job but for people, who are confident and strive to make the job work better. So, just relax and YOU ARE gonna get this job!

Don’t worry too much! I’m sure that you’ll do just fine. It’s always nerve-wracking to start a new job. Be confident, try keeping yourself calm, don’t panic. Most employees/employers will understand your jitters. Once you finish the interview, training and have worked there a while, you’ll get comfortable and it won’t be so stressful. Good luck with this. You can do it =)

It is normal to be a little nervous, it is even okay to tell them you feel a little nervous.
