Do anti-anxiety medications help you focus / concentrate if cant concentrate because u are suff. anxiety?

By

if yes what kinds work best
oh great a bunch of promotions

..It really depends on what one is taking..Some medications make a person sleepy and feel drugged out while others after a few weeks feel much better and can stay focused. An antidepressant would be the best to take, while benzo’s can be highly addictive. Go through the list on the net and decide for your self which would be best for your self and discuss this with your doctor. Every ones body is different and so what works for one may not work for another…Take care

Anti-anxiety medications may help you focus and concentrate if cant concentrate because you are suffering anxiety.I think that it is very important for you to have a consultation with a mental health professional.
We can tell you about the symptoms associated with various kinds of anxiety disorders, but the fact is that we cannot provide you with any kind of accurate diagnosis over the web. Licensed therapists are trained to diagnose various mental health disorders and sometimes this can be a tricky thing because different mental health disorders may have similar symptoms.
For example, a person who is Attention Deficit Disorder and a person with an anxiety disorder may both have difficulties sitting still.

A person with depression and a person with ADD(Attention Deficit Disorder) may both have difficulties concentrating and focusing on things. Trained therapists are taught to know and understand what the symptoms associated with various mental health disorders are, as well as what differentiates them from one another. So the best way you can find out if you are dealing with depression, anxiety, ADD(Attention Deficit Disorder is for you to schedule an appointment with a clinical social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist.

Also know that some mental health illnesses, can actually worsen when left untreated. So it is best to get an accurate diagnosis and start with treatment as soon as possible.
Good Luck and take care Always!
