Can you help control my anxiety?
ByI have anxiety issues. I’m on medication and in therapy, and both are working well- long term. However, I sometimes get bursts of anxiety (not quite an attack, but similar) and can’t handle it. Do you know any ways of quickly stopping this sort of thing?

I have Anxiety too. I really dont know of any way to stop it. However, someone who might be able to help you is the ADHD Hunter. Dont let his name fool you, he works with many mental disorders. I’ll put his website in the source box.

Have you ever done meditation? If not, it’s a worthwhile skill to pick up. It will take a little while to learn, but then you may be able use those calming skills to self-calm during your bursts of anxiety.

Realize this
Hurting people hurt others. They are the ones who are sick and being mean makes them feel better. People/kids/parents do mean things or lie to manipulate. They just want the reaction so they can get high feel good from it. The words are not true. They have the problem. You are just having a reaction to the abuse.
When you have a bad past/rejection/father gone it lets other things start. Depression, cutting, OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, hearing voices can all come from a tramautic past. Its opens doors to the negative and they start to dwell closeby.
You can talk to me or google "emotional abuse" and see all the definitions and see its all true. Knowing the truth is the step to freedom from pain.
Negative people and abuse brings spiritual problems so praying to get rid of negative things of a spiritual nature is often needed after years of abuse. Its not you its them. If present they need to be told to leave in Jesus name.
Psychiatry is not based on science but is merely an opinion. There are no blood tests done to help docs. They are just guessing.

2. Realize its their problem.
3. Realize anger hurts you not them.
4. Google "Sinners prayer"- stops sadness.
5. Google "Deliverance Prayers"
6. God is in control overall so OCD wont make things happen

I’m 45 and fought anxiety my entire life. I try to find a calming memory. Something, anything that feels comforting. I’m very big on nature so I find my natural peaceful surroundings in my memories if I cannot physically go there. If I can go there for a day or two it helps me a lot for sometime afterward. Good luck and I hope you can find your peace.
