can anxiety medication help you with seeing and hearing things?

Today, i went for an assesment being assessed. according to a doctor, seeing and hearing things is apart of anxiety. because i already have anxiety, its joint on, im not belivin a word of it. hes putting me on the lowest dose possible. why? i see and hear things, and im paranoid. i admit im anxious. but they are two seperate different things. im having no diagnosis. im only 16, but ive worn a mask everyday pretending to be happy. i explained that im suicidal, and unhappy. and he says "do u think ur depressed" and im like "i dont know" and he says im not, and that im a happy cheerful tean. im not. and im agrivated by him and frustrated and in a really suicidal mood right now on how his choices arnt makeing sense. he has no idea who i am. he knows ive been raped, and how its effected my life, and he thinks im a cheerful tean LOL. when i cut and cry myself every night having night mares and flashbacks and having hulicinations? someone take him back to med school and requalify him for being a doctor again?

I know that just being a 16 year old is hard enough to handle without all the added stress of having to pretend. Have you talked to a Parent, Grandparent, Coach or any other adult that you respect and who will take you seriously? I do not know who the "Doctor" you went to was, but obviously that person was not taking their job seriously if they pretty much just wrote you off. As a Mom of 4 girls from 35 to 15, I have been through a lot with them, but that was always the key… we went through it together. As far as the rape goes, there are adult women who have a hard time "getting over it" and some who never do, just remember sweetie, it wasn’t your fault! The person who did this to you is a very disturbed soul and trying to pretend it never happened will not help you. If you are involved in a religious organization, maybe they have some counciling to get you on the road back to who you want to be. Never give up and don’t be afraid to speak your mind, you are important! I will be thinking about you and praying that you find your way to someone who will help you find yourself again!

I know that just being a 16 year old is hard enough to handle without all the added stress of having to pretend. Have you talked to a Parent, Grandparent, Coach or any other adult that you respect and who will take you seriously? I do not know who the "Doctor" you went to was, but obviously that person was not taking their job seriously if they pretty much just wrote you off. what is vitally important is to choose your healing route- for this problem —– carefully from good information—that means knowing druggs/meds treatment for this can/will be damaging to your mind and body .drugs only mask the symptoms they do not cure.

1,get someone to massage your back and legs at least 3 times a week use peanut oil or a mix of 50-50 olive and peanut oil.

7 be amongst people who are giving, friendly who have time for you who love you , choose your friends well . choose your company well.

8 be or get to a place which personally love or like

9 get and do some work which you like or love

10 ensure you do no acts which hurt or inflict on anyone –don’t want to add to your karma do we !!!

11 spiritual healing and reiki find good therapists who offer this service in your area many spiritualist churches which are all around offer this for free as part of their vocational offerings to the divine.

12 focus your mind - think good positive thoughts, laughter, look at comedy, play good uplifting music,

13 avoid at all costs exposure to violence, murders, suffering ,death ,tragedies, -feed upon good things uplifting things, things that feel like a breath of fresh air..

14 Positive affirmation- that’s right programme your self in the mirror , thoughts are things words are things actions are things , all have influence, few people realise these things can have an effect on themselves .

15 a detox —— toxins can influence how you feel big time

16 hugs get plenty of them in your daily life you would be amazed at how people feel after a few decent hugs. find a big tree and hug that.

17 loads of exercise running walking climbing but something which you enjoy

18 rid yourselves of all aspartame laden foods and drink and many additives ==ensure water intake

A total cure however is tied up with karma so you can imagine just how important is the voluntary work. The more u do the better u will feel .

Hi Jessica. You have a lot going on and I think the cheerful mask is not helping. I dont want to judge your doctor but I dont think you have a good relationship with him. Is there another doctor, maybe a woman, that you can see? Do you have an adult in your life that you can trust to sort this kind of thing out? There are normaly tests (questionaires) to help diagnose if you have depression, ask an adult to push for a full assessment of your problems. Are you hooked into your local mental health team? You need to be seeing a health practitioner that you feel safe and comfortable with who will look at your whole story. There needs to be an adult to guide you through this, if you dont have that in your family, try and find a support person from the school, like the counsellor or youth worker and there are agencies where you can find understanding and support around the rape, stand up for yourself as much as you can, tell people you want this support and ask them to sort it out for you. There are two good sources of information "The Lowdown" and "Hearing Voices NZ". Try them, I think the lowdown is specialy for youth and really worth hooking into. Good luck
