anxiety home remedies + on demand relief + serious answers please?

i know theres all kinds of therapy and hypnosis but i need an instant relief. what are any kinds of home remedies & techniques to block out anxiety for a while to be in a relaxed mental state …i dont know how you technically say it but to have the low brainwaves?

only real answers please, your just wasting your own time but this is a serious request so i would appreciate it.

i feel the best way to help anxiety naturally is to meditate. Many people dont take meditation seriously, but it helps.

When you wake up in the morning, lay flat on your back with your palms up, breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and just slow your breathing through deep breaths. Try to clear your mind. set an alarm for ten minutes, and try to relax as much as possible in that time.
There are also guided meditations that are nice to at night, you can find them on the internet, they are helpful if you find it hard to meditate at first.

If meditating is not for you try reading a book (it will make u think about what you are reading rather than your anxiety)

for the long run, start taking Omega-3 Fish Oil Vitamins. They are over the counter, you take 2-3 a day depending on which ones you get. They are proven to help your mood, and are also very good for your heart.

a cognitive therapist and xanex seriously i had to go to hospital bc of anxiety attack there is hope just getting back to normal life after two years and i have ptsd so get meds and therapist it will be under control if you follow what drs say

Well I took an anxiety course with my old counselor and she taught me two things.
#1: Tense up all your muscles, and then release, and do that over and over again until you feel calmer
#2: Picture yourself somewhere different, (like your favorite place on earth) and imagine every detail of the place, until you have it framed in your mind, and you should feel yourself start to relax.

I know of no fast-acting herbal remedies for anxiety.

However, I take melatonin for insomnia, and I find it also GREATLY reduces my anxiety through-out the day.
