HeLP PleAsE! Anxiety issue…?
Posted by: | CommentsI am absolutely horrified of presenting in front of my class. i am a high school student and i am not shy but presentations get to me. I have two presentations coming up and i need some tips for this thank you! =}
just remember that everyone has to do it and you’re no different from them. using that conclusion just suck it up and do your best ![]()
try to prepare a presentation beforehand with some flash cards.
and remember look at the people not your project.
In your experience, has cannabis treated your anxiety and/or depression?
Posted by: | CommentsI am thinking of getting medication for what I currently consider as moderate depression and anxiety. I believe that the more natural, the better when it comes to depression and anxiety medication. I always read about anxiety and depression medication as having some pretty serious side effects. That is why I’ve been thinking about getting a cannabis permit (I’m in CA) to help me relax a little.
I am interested in a few of your experiences with weed and anxiety/depression and if it helped you.
I don’t want it if it won’t help me.
Cannabis has been known to worsen anxiety in those suffering from mental disorders. The first study in my sources says "Weekly or more frequent cannabis use in teenagers predicted an approximately twofold increase in risk for later depression and anxiety". The second study says "Frequent cannabis use is associated with increased AD in young adults independently of whether the person also uses other illicit drugs."
Cannabis has also been found to be a trigger for psychoses. 3rd study: "cannabis is an independent risk factor for schizophrenia."
4th study: "lifetime cannabis dependence is significantly associated with an increased risk of panic attacks."
As such, I would not recommend that anyone with any history of mental disorders would use cannabis.

Posted by: | CommentsOver the past 4 years ( 4th grade- 7th grade) so far I have been getting worried about EVERY little thing that is wrong with me. I worry about getting cancer, dieing. and stuff like that. I am always searching symptoms and worrying about them all day to the point i almost cry. I always think I have some terrible deadly diese.
This sounds like Hypochondria which is a mental problem in which those who have it do exactly as you do and have the same fears. Why don’t you discuss your excessive worries with your mom or your school counselor. Therapy would help you overcome this. There are numbers that you can call that are staffed by professionals who can help you. One is 1-800-4ACHILD that number is for teens also and 1-800-273-TALK.
what helps with your anxiety and stress problems?
Posted by: | Commentsmy friend has major anxiety problems. they are stressed a lot of the time what kind of things help to reduce stress? for someone with anxiety disorder and overall high anxiety? like i have thought of a stress ball for them, lavender lotion, stuffed animal any ideas? anything you can tell me about post traumatic stress disorder, and panic disorder thank you:)

not much you had explained about what are you worrying about and made you feel anxiety.regarding to your statements…..i guess you are having maybe a big problem or less then make you think it too much and when you reach a stress level…..of cause you will feel anxiety.then you are trying very hard also to make yourself go out from that situation….and you got it when you said you felt pretty chill just a few days before because you were not thinking about the big watermelon’s problem inside your head.you success to put it by your side for a while but until when?so to terminate the symptom of anxiety.that is only you know how to do it.find out your title of problem then think nicely and wisely to solve it.don’t make the anxiety feelings manage your decision to solve the problem.the anxiety will disappear when you output the main factor which donate to your feelings.
