chest pain and anxiety ?
Posted by: | CommentsI had tests done 6 months ago for my heart (stress test and scan of the heart) both were normal
I have anxiety and i got chest pains a few days ago and they are not going away. i went to the doctors yesterday and he listened to my heart and said i was ok. i got an ecg done today and it picked up irregularities which i had gotten before and all tests came back ok
The pains are in the center of my chest and fade off and come back
The doc said yesterday that i didnt need to get the ecg done for a week or two so he was not worried at all so i dont know if im just anxious and worried over nothing
Obviously if you did have AF it would have been detected by now. How old are you? Do you have any other medical problems? With the tests you have had done, the majority of abnormalities would have shown up. Did your GP do a 24 hour ECG/cardiac memo? This is often more useful for detecting arrhythmia’s as some are only evident when they are in that pathway.
Anxiety and palpitations are a bit of a vicious circle to be honest. Palpitations are made worse my stress and anxiety, and the more one worries about them, the worse they are and the more one gets palpitations, the more they worry!
This could all be non cardiac related of course. It could be indigestion or even musckloskeletal pain.
If you are young fit and healthy it is very unlikely to be angina or even artery spasm. I don’t think you are worried over nothing but I think if you are overly worried about it, it will make the situation worse.
Just because you are still having symptoms, it doesn’t mean that your GP hasn’t done his job properly,- try and look at this rationally. If you did have anything wrong it would have most likely shown up by now. The echo would have assessed the structure of the heart and will have excluded abnormalities, the stress test will have looked at how your heart performs under stress (exercise) and the ECG will most likely have detected any arrhythmic abnormalities.
I have had anxiety issues in the past, more so during exam times and the impact stress can have on the body is well documented. Try exercising, take up more hobbies, occupy your mind basically. It’s highly unlikely that anything is wrong here. Keep in contact with GP and report any new symptoms.

I have even quit my job because I am so stressed out. I felt like there was no other alternative thats how bad it has got.
I am on incapacity benefit for depression (plus another problem) but they main thing is depression. I left my job and applied to the job centre through the new claims line (you can find this on their website). Then went to my GP and asked for a sick note. If you haven’t been to your doctor yet about your depression you need to do this first to make them aware and get some medication because the job centre will want to know about your treatment when you apply. Plus it is important to get some meds for your own health and safety. Depression can be a serious thing so please go and get that sorted before you worry about money.

I take diazepem and citalopram, (40mg), diazepam helps, but the more i take it, the less effects it has. I recently tried taking beta blockers, but they only hide the external effects of anxiety like sweating. Are there any food diets which allieve anxiety, any remedies, like herbal tea? I’ve read somewhere that certain food increase the level of seretonin.
Medications are not the way to solve anxiety. The best way to solve anxiety is learning from the inside out how your feeling about these things that cause you anxiety. I found that the best site with the best products is http://stopanxietyhq.com . Their products help to make you realize what is causing you all these anxiety problems and how to deal with them. Good luck and hope you feel better!

I have so much to write about this FBFC, yet I am almost speechless. (Ha - who am I kidding? I’m never lost for words). This took us a really long time, probably about 8 hours of playing time total, if not more. Which really reminds me of how much of a life I have.
OK. Seriously. I think we all hate this song now, because we have played it for so long, lol. But this is DEFINITELY the most epic thing to have ever happened on Rock Band. It’s not really easy on any instrument, Guitar has an insane solo, Bass is basically just as difficult as Guitar for the entire song, as well as pretty strange fretting during the “Weird Organ Part” as we began to call it, hahaha. Drums are INSANE. I’ll have to ask Santos exactly how many people have FCed it in general on drums, but it’s not a lot.. Vocals are obviously the easiest (well if you are tone deaf I guess they wouldn’t be easy), but there is one phrase that’s kind of a pain in the if you aren’t consistent.
I can’t believe we did this, honestly. It’s so amazing. I’ve never really been one to brag about our accomplishments, but I think after this we deserve it. I have no reservations this time: This -IS- the most insane and epic thing to have ever been done on Rock Band since it was released.
Make sure you give SantoOs lots of love, he FCed this TWELVE times throughout the course of our grinding. No other drummer has FCed it that many times, let alone in Band Quickplay, where there is a ridiculous amount of pressure. A lot of you hardcore followers know that it was usually JPrez that choked our runs, but don’t give him too much beef.. I’d like to see you FC a song as nuts as that under the pressure he had when it was all relying on him. The worst was probably when he missed in the last 12 seconds of the song. You can imagine how bad he felt after that. We also Full Band 100%ed this, but Negative overstrummed in about the last 30 seconds of the song.
It’s not just about doing the FBFC though. A huge reason why we were able to keep doing it after all of the frustration is because we are really good friends. We support each other and don’t let the game get in the way of our friendship. I think that’s the most important thing of all.
Longest description ever? haha. Be sure to favorite, comment, rate, and enjoy the video, we worked very hard to get this.
