What are the causes of Anxiety?
Posted by: | CommentsAnd is an anxiety attack?
having suffered from anxiety for many years, i feel i can tell you
that anxiety does have an underlying reason. you just do not know
what the reason is
maybe you could sort of analyzing your life so far, what bad things
have happened to you, who and what have hurt you deeply, etc.
the best idea for you is to find a group ( self-help ) of people with
the same type of problem. speaking, letting out worries in front
of others does help.
if you suffer frompanic attacks already, it is mandatory that you
get professional help fast.

People who are not shy, does that mean they were never shy in their whole life? What causes shyness? are you born with it or is it developed?
actually i did learn in psychology class that shyness is genetic. there are a certain percentage of newborns who are born shy and some who are born outgoing. but this only lasts for a few months. and as time goes on and the babies get older they usually learn how to act based on their surroundings so they can learn to be outgoing or they can be shy it just depends.

I believe I have anxiety problems. What are my best treatment options?
Posted by: | CommentsI'm a 22 year old male and have a lot happen the past year and a half. I have never been more stressed to say the least. I have been on and off panic attacks some worse then others. This has been recently happening and I blew it off at first. However, I think it is getting worse. I am always worried, it seems like I am paranoid about everything and don't know why. I am breaking out all over my skin and just feeling depressed a lot. What are the best treatment options for me. I really don't want a prescription. I prefer over the counter/all natural. I don't even technically know what this is. Prescription is my last resort. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've had anxiety my whole life. The thing that helped "cure" me…was I stopped thinking so hard and so much. I keep myself busy and I exercise. Meds don't work, they only help the symptoms go away for a little bit and also make you tired, which doesn't help. If you want to be cured…do what I did. Believe me, if 21 years of anxiety can almost completely go away just from those few things…I'm sure it'll work on you. Good Luck. I hope it works. I went through hell and back more than once and hit rock bottom twice…believe me…I wish I stopped worrying and thinking so hard a long time ago. Exercise and eating regularly and keeping hydrated helps. Moving on helps majorly too.
