i feel like the bridge of my nose and eyes are achy and tense all the time and lately my anxieties have resurfaced and that's when i noticed it when my anxieties have been coming back the past few months
Thank you
and in that case if it can, can that make your sinuses inflamed to not breath clearly, through your nose. That could be in my head to due to the unconfortableness of the tension. ( i'm a wicked hypocondriak )

Yes, and actually try this.

Ball your fingertips together and apply pressure just above the bridge of your nose, between your eyes. Press evenly and hold for about 30 seconds. Don't press too hard. When you let go, you should feel a fair amount of relief.

I was prescribed paxil Cr 12.5 mg for anxiety, how effective it can be on that? i also have insomnia problems could it help me on that? and make me happier also? im afraid of the side effects of it though.

A word of warning about paxil (an SSRI) and other similar drugs made by different drug companies:

"…The Physicians' Desk Reference lists the following adverse reactions (side effects) to antidepressants among a host of other physical and neuropsychiatric effects: manic reaction (mania, e.g. kleptomania, pyromania, dipsomania), emotional lability (or instability), abnormal thinking, alcohol abuse, hallucinations, hostility, lack of emotion, paranoid reaction, amnesia, confusion, agitation, delirium, delusions, hysteria, psychosis, SLEEP DISORDERS, ABNORMAL DREAMS, and discontinuation (withdrawal) syndrome.

Adverse reactions are especially likely when starting or discontinuing the drug, increasing or lowering the dose or when switching from one SSRI to another SSRI. Adverse reactions are often diagnosed as bipolar disorder when the symptoms could be entirely iatrogenic (treatment induced). Withdrawal, especially abrupt withdrawal, from any of these medications can also cause severe neuropsychiatric and physical symptoms. It is important to withdraw extremely slowly from these drugs, usually over a period of a year or more, under the supervision of a qualified and experienced specialist

In addition to the adverse reactions listed in the Physicians' Desk Reference, the FDA published a Public Health Advisory on March 22, 2004 which states (in part): "Anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, INSOMNIA, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, akathisia (severe restlessness), hypomania, and mania have been reported in adult and pediatric patients being treated with antidepressants for major depressive disorder as well as for other indications, both psychiatric and nonpsychiatric…"

I put the bits relating to sleep in upper case. It would be worth you and anyone else reading the whole document, for your own safety.

I find at times though mentally I am calm, I can't calm my heart beat. Or I am awakened by a frequent heart rate.

I've never been diagnosed with any heart issues and in fact, if I would gladly avoid the medical realm altogether; I hate people who frequent doctors with their miniscule problems, but there has always been this funny feeling in me, since childhood that something is off with my heart.

A normal adult heart beats between 60 and 100 times a minute. A heart rate over 100 beats a minute is called tachycardia. Some tachycardias are relatively harmless and need no treatment, but others can be life-threatening. Treatment for recurrent tachycardia can range from daily medication to open-heart surgery. A specific diagnosis is necessary before finding the right treatment for your tachycardia.

Am I in menopause at 37 please help me?

Posted by: admin | Comments (2)

Please help I feel like I'm losing my mind I am 37 years old and have been having hot flashes, extreme anxiety, awful temper every little thing will set me into a rampage and I don't know what is wrong with me could I be going through perimenopause I don't have insurance so I cant go to the dr so please don't tell me to go that will set me off to. Could this be perimenopause? Do the home menopause tests work pretty accurately and how do they work? Where can I get one ?Thanks

Before menopause—your final period—the ovaries gradually stop producing estrogen. This decline in the level of estrogen in your body can cause a variety of physical symptoms, including irregular periods, hot flashes, and night sweats, as well as vaginal dryness that can lead to atrophic vaginitis if untreated.

For a natural hormone replacement , i suggest you try naturapause.
