Panic Disorder

Panic Disorder
This disorder is marked by the presence of repeated panic attacks: sudden feelings of terror that appear with physical symptoms like rapid heartbeat, sweating, palpitations, shortness of breath as if suffocating, dizzy or light-headedness, numbness or tingling in the extremities, nausea, and visual distortions.
During these attacks sufferers often fear they will have a heart attack, faint, lose control, go crazy, or even die. The attacks begin to subside within 10 minutes but anxiety usually persists longer.
Some of the attacks appear “out of the blue” which leads to a generalized fear of more attacks, but some situations may reliably trigger the attacks.
Over time, people often begin to avoid the situations where they have experienced previous attacks. This can develop into Agoraphobia, an avoidance of situations from which escape may be difficult.
As this disorder grows it can become severely disabling often limiting people’s abilities to travel or even leave their homes.
The good news is that panic disorder is highly treatable. With medications, cognitive behavioral therapy, or both, the sufferer is soon on the way to recovery.
Remember you are never alone.

Half-Life 2 Nightmare, the sequel to HL2 Anxiety, has been released! Watch it today at either of the two above links. Included after this spinoff North By Northwest trailer for HL2 Nightmare are a couple deleted scenes from a Team Fortress 2 Western.
Our new website domain is www.jsclan.com
The site is currently not up but we had to buy a new domain due to previous problems with our old one. Also, we’re not really a clan, more of a community, but we wanted jsclan for simplicity reasons instead of having something like jsmachinima or jscommunity.
Enjoy and hope you like HL2 Nightmare.

can anxiety, stress and nerves give you frequent diareaha? ?
Posted by: | CommentsI have had these symptoms for about a week, I am only going probably once or twice a day but my anxiety has been acting up really bad. I have been on the same medication for about 10 years, maybe is is time to switch?
Hi. Absolutely, stress and anxiety can cause diarrhea. I suffer from both, and when i get really nervous or stressed it always happens to me. As soon as it starts, i try to take some Imodium, and that will usually help it slow down. If your anxiety is acting up, that’s probably why it’s happening. I don’t know that changing your meds is really necessary. Mine gets worse when i’m more anxious too. Hope you feel better soon, hugs
How do you keep work stress/anxiety at work and not bring it home with you?
Posted by: | CommentsI come home and sometimes lay awake for hours at night worrying about things that will happen or have happened at work…sometimes I get anxiety attacks after I get off work about things that have happened during the day…
What's a good way to leave all that stress at work?
It sounds like your job is crazy.
the only thingyou have control over is yourself. do your best at work, stay out of the drama if you can andjust do good work.
When you grt home make sure you have some type of exercise routine, walking. running, cycling, something that makes you sweat. Eat well, spend time with friends, laugh at a few good sit-coms. Whenever thoughts of work start creeping in tell yourself, "I did my best today and there is nothing I can do about that right now."
Then start looking for a new job. This level of anxiety/stress isn't healthy

Why do Kids have separation anxiety, And how do you get rid of it?
Posted by: | CommentsMy sister is 10. Se has a terrible separation anxiety. She cries at school cause shes not with my mom. The nervous breakdowns are really annoying. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
Hi, I'm almost seventeen; don't judge me.
I can relate to that because I had and currently have some anxiety issues myself. It's difficult to get rid of it because it's an emotion that can't be corrected immediately. I'm sorry to hear that your sister is going through a hard time!
In my perspective the reason why children or anybody has these anxieties attacks, well there's an answer to each circumstance. However, I believe the reason why your sister is having them because she is a very "Worried Person". She feels attach to your mother because perhaps your mother is making her feel good about her self esteem. When she's not with your mother perhaps kids are making fun of her and she clings on to your mother because she feels "emotionally safe". I had the same issue when I was younger!
My advice to you is to see what's bothering her. Anxiety is caused when something is bothering a person emotionally. The best thing to do is to try to see what the problem is with your sister and try to help her through it. That's the only way the anxiety will go down, however it never really goes away 100%. Talk to her and try your best to help her through her problem.
Best Of Luck Always!!!
